No. 2 Texas A&M Equestrian resumes conference play at it faces No. 8 Georgia in a 10 a.m. meet Saturday at the UGA Equestrian Complex.

The Aggies, who are 6-2 (1-2 SEC) on the season, are looking to continue their two-meet winning streak after an 11-9 victory over then-No. 2 SMU last Saturday. The Aggies won three events, Horsemanship 4-1 and Equitation on the Flat and Reining 3-2, to secure the victory. Hayden Stewart (Equitation on the Flat) and Katie Conklin (Horsemanship) each earned Most Outstanding Player (MOP) honors against the Mustangs.

Rebekah Chenelle paces the Aggies in the Hunter Seat arena, contributing 11 wins to the Aggies, including five in Equitation on the Flat and six in Equitation over the fences. Caroline Dance, the SEC’s Rider of the Month, and Rhian Murphy have each added five victories in Flat.

In Horsemanship, Sarah Orsak, who was named the January NCEA and SEC Rider of the Month, looks to continue her stellar season as the senior holds a 7-0-1 record, while Katie Conklin and Alex Albright have recorded five wins.

Kalee McCann and Marissa Harrell lead the Reining squad with four wins a piece, while Ashton Dunkel, Darby Gardner and Courtney Yohey have each contributed three wins.

Saturday’s meet is the second time the Aggies and Bulldogs have met this season, as Georgia defeated Texas A&M, 14-5, in College Station in November. This season, the Bulldogs are 2-4 overall, with a 1-1 ledger at home.
