The Lady Bears hit the road this week. There first stop is Norman, OK.
The Sooners don't have quite the size the Lady bears do down low, but that isn't going to stop them from fighting for boards.
The young Oklahoma team can shoot from the perimeter. But, the Lady Bears have been quite the force on defense lately.
The Sooners are 1-5 in conference play, but don't tell Lady Bears Head Coach Kim Mulkey that.
She said she tells her team to play as though they are already down 10-0 every time they step on a court away from home.
"Don't look at Oklahoma's record. Those guys have played four of their six conference games on the road with a very young team. I'm gonna look at the Connecticut game, and I know they had an opportunity to win that game. So, I expect it to be another tough road game as they all are, and we don't look at records, we look at personnel, what we have to do to try to win a basketball game on the road," Coach Mulkey said.
Tip off for the Lady Bears game is Sunday at 2 p.m.
