Police said a drunk man was arrested after he lost control of the vehicle he was driving and hit a tree.
The driver was identified as 19-year-old Brian Lockwood, of Houston.
College Station police said the passenger in Lockwood's car was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Officers said Lockwood was intoxicated while driving the car and he was then arrested on an intoxication assault charge.
