BELTON, Texas – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s basketball player Kendall Rollins has been named American Southwest Conference Co-West Division Player of the Week for the week ending January 6th. This is the third ASC weekly honor of the year for Rollins and the fifth overall for the Cru women.

Rollins, a junior guard from Tompkins High School, averaged 18.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game over a five-game stretch during the Christmas break. She shot 52 percent from the field and hit 56 percent from three-point range. Rollins also added 13 steals and 11 assists in helping lead the Cru women to the best start in program history. She shares this week’s award with Concordia Texas’ Kaycie Dunkerley.

UMHB is 14-0 overall and 5-0 in ASC play on the season. The Cru will host 2nd-ranked Thomas More University for a 6 pm tip-off on Monday before opening ASC West Division play with a pair of home games later this week.
