Every resident at the Killeen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center received a special delivery Saturday afternoon.
The local nonprofit group, Project Spread a Lil Love, rounded up volunteer elves from the Killeen area to create gift baskets for all the residents.
Each gift basket was funded and made entirely by volunteers and included a sugar-free treat, lotion, a blanket, non-slip socks and a fun activity, like a puzzle or board game.
The nonprofit holds events all throughout the year in support of the Killeen community and asked that if you would like to volunteer that you reach out to them via their Facebook page.
