Sheriff's office looking for information after two people were shot

The Bell County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for information that led to two victims being shot on Sunday.

According to the sheriff’s office, at approximately 11:18 p.m. deputies responded to the 15000 block of Cedar Valley Road in Salado in reference to a 911 call reporting two victims with gunshot wounds.

Deputies found a 35-year-old male and 49-year-old female both suffering from gunshot wounds. They were both transported to a local hospital.

The male victim is currently in stable condition and the female’s condition is currently considered serious.

It appears to have been a robbery. There have been no arrests at this time and an investigation is ongoing.
