Fall 2018 in Texas brought massive amounts of rainfall across Texas.

There was so much downpour, it broke the state's record for the wettest two-month period on record going back to 1895.

September and October each individually set a new record for the amount of precipitation during the respective months.

In September, Texas saw an average of 6.75 inches of precipitation. In October, there was an average of 6.86 inches.

The Texas Water Development Board said as of Nov. 12, the drought map shows only 1 percent of the state remains impacted by drought.
