A man was arrested and charged with indecency with a child by contact on Thursday.
According to the Bell County Sheriff’s Department, Antoine McGowan, 46, was arrested for indecency with a child by contact under the age of 17.
After his arrest was made public, an additional six victims came forward and contacted the Special Crimes Unit.
In July, the Bell County Sheriff’s Department received information on the charge and began an investigation.
On Nov. 2, there was an arrest warrant for McGowan for aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of 14. The suggested bond amount was set at $200,000. He was then served with his arrest warrant at the Bell County Jail.
He was transported to the Bell County Jail. His bond is set at $100,000.
Additional charges are pending.
