Baylor, the Big 12 regular season champions and tournament runners up, will host Abilene Christian at Betty Lou Mays Soccer Field this weekend as a #2 seed in the 2018 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament.

"Getting the two seed, we get to be at Betty Lou again which is so much fun. We've been away for a week in Kansas City, so being able to bring it back home is gonna be great," Julie James, a senior midfielder for the Bears, said. "Getting in the tournament is just really exciting, it's just a fun time and new season. We can't get complacent with just getting in though. We're excited to make another run and just take one game at a time and do our best with it."

The Bears played the Wildcats at the beginning of the year winning 2-0. But, that doesn't meant they're taking this first round match-up lightly.

"It was a tough 2-0 victory early in the season. We've matured, they've matured, so we're gonna go back and catch up on the last 19 games that they've played and see how they've matured as a team and try to lock in and find a good game plan to compete and hopefully win that game," Baylor Soccer Head Coach Paul Jobson said.

Game time for ACU versus Baylor is set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
