A man was arrested after he pointed a gun between the eyes of a woman when a baby shower she held in their home ran late.
According to the Associated Press, the man, Raymond Strange, and his pregnant girlfriend lived together in the 1800 block of McGinnis Court.
Police said the Strange and his girlfriend had previously made an agreement that the party at their house in the 1800 block of McGinnis Court would be over by 7 p.m. Strange would return to the home shortly after.
On Sunday night, the Strange returned around 7:30 p.m. to find that the baby shower had not ended. Police said the woman met with Strange in a separate room to apologize for the party still going on.
Strange then asked everyone to leave, grabbed a handgun, locked and loaded it and pointed it at the woman. Police said he placed the barrel between his pregnant girlfriend's eyes.
Strange was arrested that night for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and brought to the Harker Heights Police Department. His bond was set at $100,000.
