Texas was voted the best state for food in the country by Thrillist - as if we didn't already know.
Thrillist said they factored numerous things when making the decision, including cities with quality restaurant scenes, singular state specialties and a variety of fresh seafood and produce.
Texas was given the top spot for its diverse restaurants, barbecue scene, and of course, Tex-Mex.
"Texas is having its national food moment, and it may be time to get a bigger belt to go along with that buckle," the food and travel website said.
