A Waco ISD high school underwent a brief 'lockout' after a threat was made Friday afternoon.
Waco ISD said that the campus was in a "lockout" Friday afternoon after a threatening message was found on a bathroom wall.
The district said that a lockout occurs when students remain in their classrooms and outside access to the campus is restricted.
Waco ISD police investigated the threat, which threatened action during a school pep rally, and found that it was not credible.
Dismissal occurred at the normal time.
The district is working on notifying parents of the incident.
