West ISD is mourning the loss of one of its own.
The district said that Debbie Vrba, a teacher at Brookhaven Youth Ranch, passed away on Sept. 10.
Vrba "truly loved her fellow staff members at Brookhaven."
A rosary will be recited and Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. on Sept. 14 at St. Martin's Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at St. Martin's Cemetery. Vrba's family will be accepting visitors from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel.
