Waco police are investigating after a man was shot in the hip at an apartment complex last night.
Police said the victim was shot by a man known to him after the two were reportedly having an argument in the complex located at 2509 E. Lake Shore Drive.
The suspect fired several rounds, striking the victim once in the hip and sending one round into a wall of an apartment in the complex. The suspect ran away from the scene and police have not located him.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery.
Waco police will continue to investigate the incident.
