A woman was shot in the neck at an apartment complex in Waco on Thursday.
According to Waco Police Department, at approximately 6:30 p.m. officers arrived at the Villages Apartments on the 1100 block of North Sixth Street. A man walked into her apartment and shot her.
When they arrived at the scene, they saw the victim walking around when they got there. Her injuries were non-life threatening.
The victim was taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest. She told police that the shooter had fled the scene.
Police are looking for a 28-year-old man suspected of shooting the woman.
This is an ongoing investigation.
