Killeen man arrested after robbing gas station in Harker Heights

Harker Heights Police arrested a man accused of robbing a gas station on Tuesday.

According to Harker Heights Police, 39-year-old Reymundo Barron Jr. robbed an Exxon/ Knights Food Mart on Monday. He placed a six-pack of Bud Ice on the counter of the register. He then reached into his right front pocket and pulled out a silver pistol telling the clerk, “Give me all the money in the register.”

Barron left the gas station with cash and a six-pack of Bud Ice, according to Harker Heights Police.

On Tuesday, officers located the suspect in the 300 block of Cattail Circle. Barron had active warrants and was taken into custody. In his pockets were a silver pistol, wads of cash, paperwork and other drug contraband.

Barron was taken to the Harker Heights Police Department and was charged with aggravated robbery, according to Harker Heights Police.

He was booked into Bell County Jail. His bond is set at $100,000.
