More than 400 competitors are in Central Texas for the Starburst Junior Golf Classic.
Organizers say the field is so crowded they had to stagger starts at their four courses with the young players going early and the older competitors playing in the afternoon.
Golfers from age seven to 18 are competing in four groups (boys and girls are split up again by age) to see who takes home the title.
This year, that means something pretty special as former champions Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed (now professional golfers and Major champions) have donated signed memorabilia to be raffled off.
