Copperas Cove Police Officers will be celebrating Cone with a Cop by giving away free ice cream to children 12 and under on June 30.
The officers state that the mission of Cone with a Cop is to allow young citizens to interact with Copperas Cove officers in a friendly and relaxed environment.
The police department will also be giving away KIDDO cards. The card is a child identification card meant to be held by parents or guardians in case of an emergency.
The Cone with a Cop event will be held at Waffle Cone, 508 Cove Terrace from 12-3 p.m., June 30.
