A man has been indicted on an aggravated assault charge after police say he hit a woman with his car.

According to the affidavit, Seth Williams ran over his girlfriend on the sidewalk after the two got into an argument earlier.

The victim’s 9-year-old son said his stepdad and mother were in an argument in the car, and Williams told her to get out. Her son got out of the car as well.

The affidavit states that the victim and her son were on the sidewalk walking when Williams drove the car in a circle and hit the victim.

Killeen police officers arrived on the scene and saw the victim on the ground with her bone protruding out of her skin. The victim was taken to Baylor Scott & White and needed surgery to fix the broken bone. She will be in a cast for six weeks.

The victim told officers that Williams hit her once, bringing her to the ground. He then backed up, and “zoomed” forward running over her foot causing the injuries.

When officers arrived at William’s residence he told Killeen officers that he was intoxicated and bumped the victim with his car. He was not clear on the details because of his intoxication.

Williams was charged and arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is still in jail, and bond is set at $100,000.
