Nine Texas A&M football standouts earned spots on the preseason All-Southeastern Conference Team, as selected by Athlon Sports.
Earning a spot on Athlon’s elite squad were seniors Landis Durham, Daniel LaCamera, Kingsley Keke, Otaro Alaka and Donovan Wilson, juniors Tyrel Dodson, Erik McCoy and Trayveon Williams, and sophomore Jhamon Ausbon. Georgia led the way with 13 selections on Athlon’s 2018 All-SEC team, followed by Alabama and Missouri tied at 11. Mississippi State, Florida and Texas A&M were next up with nine selections apiece.

Second-Team
LB Tyrel Dodson – Led team with 105 tackles, including 5.5 sacks and 11 tackles for loss
DL Landis Durham – Tied for SEC lead with 10.5 quarterback sacks
K Daniel LaCamera – Connected on 18-of-20 field goals, scored 105 points
RB Trayveon Williams – Led team with 798 rushing yards with eight touchdowns
Third-Team
C Erik McCoy – Entering third season as starter at center
Fourth-Team
LB Otaro Alaka – Posted 78 tackles, tied for team lead with 12.0 tackles for loss
WR Jhamon Ausbon – Reeled in 50 catches for 571 yards, including 12 in the bowl game
DL Kingsley Keke – Compiled 54 tackles and recovered a pair of fumbles
S Donovan Wilson – Missed 2017 due to injury, has six career pickoffs
