Baylor baseball was ranked No. 27 in Monday’s Collegiate Baseball top 30 poll. The ranking marks the first time the Bears (30-18, 11-10) have been ranked since 2017.

The Bears were ranked for four straight weeks last season (March 6-April 2, 2017) and reached a high as No. 10 in the Collegiate Baseball poll.

Baylor has won 16 of its last 18 games, including a streak of 13 in a row that ended last Saturday vs. No. 20 Oklahoma State. BU’s longest winning streak since 2012 (24) has helped the team win three straight Big 12 series for the first time since 2013 and four straight overall series for the first time since 2014.

The Bears have won 30 or more (30) games in a season for the second straight year, giving the program back-to-back 30-win seasons for the first time since 2011 (31) and 2012 (49).
