The Waco Police Department said they are investigating a shooting where two people were sent to the hospital after being shot in Waco on Saturday.
Officers arrived at the 1300 block of Hood St. where police found two people had been shot.
One woman was shot in the left foot, and a man was shot in the left hip/buttock area.
Officers on scene found multiple shell casings.
Both victims were transported to Baylor Scott & White.
As officers were speaking with the victims at Baylor Scott & White Hospital the male victim continued to give inconsistent information about what actually occurred.
Police said he also seemed inconsistent with identifying information including his name and date of birth.
It was eventually discovered he lied about his name and is actually identified as Nathan Parham, who was wanted for a parole violation out of Austin.
Their condition is unknown.
The investigation is ongoing.
