The West Independent School District said West Elementary, West Middle and High School and the administration building are without power.
The school district said all students are safe and the school day is continuing on.
The school district said the outage will last until at least 2 p.m.
The school district said students may be checked-out from school.
School buses will run at normal times.
The school district said that for West High School STAAR testers for the U.S. History end of course exam will now be tomorrow.
Currently, West Elementary School, West Middle/High School, & theAdministration Building are without power. All students are safe, and the school day is continuing on. We have a plan for lunch, and we are reviewing our options for the STAAR U.S. History EOC at West HS.
