Clifton and Betsy Robinson have partnered with the City of Waco and Creative Waco to bring twenty-seven sculptures to Cameron Park.

At an event held Wednesday morning, they showed the public what the sculptures will look like and who the artists are.

The public art display will be placed in Cameron Park along the Brazos River later this year.

Clifton Robinson says he was inspired to make the Brazos River corridor a venue for art after the Doris Miller statue was placed in the Bledsoe-Miller Park.

Robinson, who has put up half of the money to pay for these sculptures also helped bring the cattle sculptures that are around the Waco Suspension Bridge.

The plan is to eventually have public art displays throughout the Brazos River corridor on both sides of the river.

The art displays will go along with the river walk from Cameron Park to McLane Stadium.
