FALLS COUNTY, TX (KXXV) -

A jury was selected in the trial of a Falls County mother accused of killing her baby in 2016.

Dung Ngoc Thi-Zeluff who is from Vietnam is facing capital murder charges for the death of her daughter Emily Zeluff two years ago

The Falls County Sheriff's Office said the 5-month old was unresponsive when paramedics arrived at the home on Falls County road 3006 on Oct. 31, 2016.  Emily died at the hospital an hour later.

At least 86 prospective jurors were at the Falls County Courthouse on Tuesday being considered to be part of the jury panel.

Zeluff's attorney is using insanity defense in her case.

During the jury selection, Zeluff was visibly shaking. Her husband told Central Texas News Now last year, she suffered from Parkinson's Disease, anxiety and most likely mental illness.

The trial is expected to resume on Wednesday at 9 a.m.
