The Temple Children's Museum has announced the location of its future building.
The announcement came at the museum's fundraiser Friday. The location will be located at 214 South 2nd Street.
“We knew we wanted to be in the downtown area, and finding the right spot was very important,” said Susan Chandler, a founding board member. “Touring this building showed us all of the potential it had for hands-on-learning spaces for the children in our community.”
Through donations, the museum was able to purchase the building and will fundraise in the future for exhibits and features.
As for completion, a date has not been announced.
