Local residents were invited out to the South Waco Library to paint rocks for a kind cause.
The Kindness Rocks Projects is a unique way to spread kindness throughout the community.
Kids and their parents went in and painted inspirational messages and nice pictures with the intent to brighten up someone else's day.
"The idea of the Kindness Rocks is to paint a rock, a plain old regular rock, and you can paint it however you want to. then you add either an image to it or motivational saying and you give it to someone who has been having a really bad day and could use a little more happiness, "said Kelsie Wade, the event coordinator.
This project was founded two years ago and continues to spread throughout the nation.
