Two dancers with Copperas Cove ISD will be dancing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.

Seniors Lily Sallfors and Victoria Hanson, from Copperas Cove High School's award-winning dance line, will dance in the parade on NBC next Thursday.

The girls were chosen at an American Dance/Drill Team camp to be a part of the Spirit of America team of dancers.

When they arrive, the Copperettes will be practice with a group of 650 dancers.

“I feel like the parade will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I can’t wait to see what New York holds for both me and Tori,” said Sallfors in a release. Sallfors is the captain of the Copperettes dance line.

"This opportunity to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City is a dream come true,” Hanson said.

The parade begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 11 a.m.
