Baylor soccer road trips for NCAA 2nd round

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

Baylor soccer is hitting the road for the second round of the NCAA tournament. Their opponent? Defending national champions Southern California.

Coach Paul Jobson says he's excited at the potential for a good sized Baylor crowd, but he "wouldn't go so far to call Aggie territory home."

The Lady Bears are fresh off a 3-2 round one win over the Rice Owls. Jobson says even though his team is peaking at the right time, he doesn't think they've done anything differently.

"I think our girls have approached every match the same whether that's regular season -- big 12 tournament -- or ncaa tournament. Their purpose has been steady."

Baylor's game against USC is scheduled for Nov 17 at 3:30 p.m. in College Station.
