Two young adults were arrested at an apartment complex Monday night after they admitted to stealing from several vehicles.

College Station officers went to the complex in the 1500 block of Copperfield Parkway after receiving reports that a man and woman were walking around checking door handles on parked vehicles.

The officers quickly detained 19-year-old Theron Daniel and 18-year-old Toni Strasheim as they walked off the apartment property. It was discovered that Daniel was in possession of a firearm and both suspects admitted to burglarizing the vehicles in the parking lot.

All stolen property was recovered and some burglarized vehicles were identified by the two suspects. Many of the vehicle owners were unable to be located and the remaining property was placed into evidence at the College Station Police Department.

Daniel and Strasheim were both charged with three counts of criminal attempt burglary of a vehicle. Daniel had an additional charge of unlawfully carrying a weapon.
