Temple Fire & Rescue said the repair work on the AT&T fiber optic cables has been completed on Tuesday afternoon.
On Monday, AT&T customers were having issues calling 911 after an outage affecting several areas in the country, including Central Texas.
Temple Fire & Rescue said that if any Temple residents need to contact 911, to contact Temple police directly at 254-298-5500.
Reports say that estimated restoration time is 2 a.m. Tuesday.
