Constable deputy attacked with knife, baseball bat while posting eviction notice

The Bell County Constable Pct 3 posted on their Facebook page that a Constable Deputy was attacked with a knife and baseball bat by a suspect. 

On Oct. 20 a Constable Deputy was attempting to post a 24-hour eviction notice in the 5000 block of Loop 205 in Temple when he was approached by an armed subject. 

The suspect had a butcher knife and a baseball bat and made threats towards the deputy. 

The suspect was arrested without incident. 

Constable Prado stated, “my Deputy kept himself calm and manage to de-escalate the situation and with the help of Temple PD."

Constable Prado said charges are pending on the subject.
