The Salvation Army in Temple is continuing the pre-screening for Angel Tree until Oct. 20.
On Monday, pre-screening will be from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. To set up an appointment, contact 254-774-9996. Walk-in appointments will be at 419 W. Avenue G. and taken Tuesday, Oct. 10 - Friday, Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m and also Tuesday, Oct. 15 - Friday, Oct. 20 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
To be seen, please have a valid picture ID, identification for everyone in the household (such as a school ID, birth certificate), proof of income for past 30 days of everyone in the household, proof of all government assistance and proof of residence.
Last year, the Salvation Army in Temple served 300 families. Their goal this year is 450 families.
