The Killeen Police Department said that a 40-year-old was stabbed while visiting a friend around 3 a.m. Friday morning.
Police said that the victim went to the residence near the 5400 block of Fiesta Oak Dr when the known suspect approached the victim.
A verbal confrontation began between the victim and the suspect, and it became physical. The victim was then stabbed, and the suspect fled on foot.
The victim was treated and released on the scene. The case is on-going.
