Police looking for hit-and-run suspect that left 1 injured

The Hewitt Police Department is asking for help identifying a suspect and/or vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run that left the other driver with minor injuries on the morning of Sept. 13. 

Police said the crash happened at the intersection of W. Johnson and 2nd St. The vehicle was described as an older model Ford with a light blue or blue tool or truck box. 

They also said that the vehicle has or had extensive front-end damage. Police mention that the truck could have been fixed at this time, and the toolbox could have been removed.  

Witnesses to the crash said that the vehicle frequently comes through the area.
