Harker Heights Police said that a man is in custody after a shooting in a home on Thursday afternoon.
Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Loblolly Dr. after the suspect called the police and reported that a woman had been shot.
When police arrived, they said the woman identified the man as the suspect, and the suspect surrendered without incident.
The man was identified as Keith Davis Anderson, 41.
The woman was shot in the stomach and brought to the hospital. She is in serious condition.
