The College Station Police Department said that a cement truck rolled over causing a single vehicle accident.
On Aug. 11 at around 12:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to Wellborn Rd and Harvey Mitchell Parkway.
A cement truck was traveling on Harvey Mitchell Parkway when it exited the southbound exit ramp to Wellborn Road.
As the cement truck continued on the exit ramp, the truck began to skid, rolled, and came to rest on the passenger side.
As a result, the southbound exit ramp was closed for approximately 5 hours while crews attempted to upright the vehicle and clear debris.
No injuries were reported.
The truck driver was cited for Fail to Control Speed.
