Two southbound lanes of I-35 near Temple closed due to two-vehicle wreck

An accident on southbound I-35 just south of Midway Drive in Temple is causing delays.

Temple fire and rescue and Temple police are on the scene.

Officials said at 11:26 a.m., Chevy Impala and 18-wheeler collided causing minor injuries.

Traffic is slowing down and the southbound two left lane has been closed.

The on ramp to I-35 just the before the accident has also been closed.
