Mildred Walker is one of the foremost experts of Dr Pepper history and her book, Selling a Taste, has been anticipated for years.
According to the Dr Pepper Museum and Free Enterprise Institute, Mildred Walker worked under Dr Pepper Company archivist and historian, Harry Ellis, before spending many years at the museum. She later worked at the Dublin plant as the collections manager.
Walker's book follows the development of Dr Pepper since it was developed in 1885. She will take folks on a journey through the pages on Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Dr Pepper Museum and Free Enterprise Institute.
