Hawaiian Falls announced three special events for the end of the 2017 summer season including Teacher / School Worker Appreciation Week, Champions Day and Heros Week.

Teacher / School Worker Appreciation Week will be from July 24 to July 30. During this week anyone with a school ID gets free admission with the purchase of a Big Kahuna ticket, including teachers, administrators, aides and custodians.

Champions Day, a day dedicated to individuals with special needs of all ages, will take place on August 5. These individuals, called champions, and their families will have exclusive access to the park from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. before the park opens to the public. Champions get free admission and their companion’s tickets, limited four per champion, will be sold at $10 each at the front gate. The champions and their family can stay at the park all day long.

Heros Week will be held August 7 to August 11. During this week all active duty and first responders will get free admission by showing their badge at the front gate. Each Hero can bring up to four guests for a discounted price.
