To promote community involvement and safer neighborhoods, a National Night Out is being held by the Hewitt PD and Pokey O's Waco.
The event will include music, bounce houses, games and food. Tips gathered will benefit the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children.
It is free to the public and is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on July 21 at the Hewitt IGA parking lot.
