There will be a new addition to the Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery in Killeen later this week.
A brand new Vietnam War Memorial that's been in the works for a few months will be installed in the cemetery on Friday.
The black granite memorial wall was designed by local artist, Troy Kelley and has been under construction in Hamilton, Texas.
Kelley said his vision for the memorial was simple, he wanted to tell the story of the war through the eyes of a veteran.
"I asked all the veterans to come up with what they had felt when they were in Vietnam and what felt when they came home and I think it's the first time they have had an opportunity to express some of their feelings," Kelley said.
Kelley added the memorial is "somewhat of a graffiti wall."
