Police investigating aggravated assault with deadly weapon in College Station

The College Station Police said they are investigating an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon that took place on July 14 at around 6:50 p.m.

Officers responded to the 1700 block of Anderson St. for a report of a disturbance. 

Upon arrival, officers determined the residents of the neighboring apartment had been involved in a verbal argument. During the argument, the boyfriend of the suspect made a tomahawk/ hatchet and threatened the other people. 

29-year-old Christopher Lezynski was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. 

27-year-old Jaye Firth was also arrested and charged with disorderly conduct language.

The case remains under investigation.
