Police looking for man that broke in into apartment and assaulted resident

The College Station Police Department said they are looking for a man that assaulted a resident after breaking into an apartment complex. 

On July 12 at around 11:22 p.m., police were dispatched on a report of burglary of habitation at an apartment complex in the 1500 block of Harvey Rd.

It was reported that a male suspect forced entry into the apartment there and attacked the resident, who after a brief struggle was able to fight off the unidentified suspect. The suspect was able to call emergency crews, and the suspect then fled the scene.

They described the man in his early 20's and is approximately 5'8''- 6'0" tall, of average built and dark colored hair.
