A mother, her daughter and two juveniles are in custody after a fight in Chilton Thursday afternoon.

According to Falls County Sheriff Ricky Scaman, the fight occurred around 6:30 p.m.

Scaman said that Shamada Bailey, 34, and her daughter Jasmine Rueda, 17, were traveling along with two juveniles to a home in Chilton. Scaman said Rueda got out of the car and began to fight a girl who was in the yard of the home.

Bailey and the two other juveniles got out of the vehicle to assist Rueda who was being beaten up by the girl in the yard.

Somebody made a call to police. When police arrived at the scene, Bailey and the group had left the scene. The girl that was attacked was not taken to the hospital.

Authorities were able to locate and arrest Bailey and Rueda. The juveniles, one found to be in possession of marijuana, were taken to separate juvenile detention centers.

Bailey and Rueda are being held at the Falls County Jail and charged with Class A Misdemeanor Assault.
