A parole officer is missing, according to Temple police.
Police are searching for Corey Henderson, 30.
Other reports said that one of his parolees was also missing at the same time as the parole officer. TDCJ said these incidents are not connected, and the parolee is now in police custody.
A parole warrant was issued for Juan Macias. Macias was arrested by Temple police Friday afternoon for a parole violation.
Henderson walked away from Scott & White voluntarily Thursday and hadn't been heard from since, according to Temple PD.
"Nobody would have to worry about [him] after tonight," said a text message Henderson sent to his wife. Police also said that his handgun was missing from his home.
