TxDOT spokesperson Jodi Wheatley said they will be performing road closures in Temple to make emergency repairs.
The repairs will be made on a couple of drainage grates in the I-35 work zone near the Spur 290/Nugent Ave. area.
All northbound traffic will be slowed down or stopped for about 15 minutes as the drainage grates, one in each lane, are taken care of.
Each repair will take care of the drainage grate in one lane, but all traffic will be interrupted to make a safe space for the work to be done.
The work is expected to be completed by around 1 p.m.
