Baylor acrobatics & tumbling had a trio of players earn National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association (NCATA) honors Saturday. Kiara Nowlin was named Most Outstanding Player while Kaelyn Cowan, Nowlin and Lauren Sturm were recognized as All-Americans.

Nowlin garnered the MOP honor for the second time in her career (2015) in her final season and is the only player in program history to ever earn the award. Her All-American nod was the third straight to set the Baylor record for most All-American accolades in a career.

Cowan received the All-American honor for the second straight season to close out her career, while Sturm received the recognition for the first time in her junior season.

Baylor’s three All-Americans tie the program record (2013, 2015, 2016) for most in a season.

The No. 2 seeded Bears take on No. 1 Oregon Saturday at 9 p.m. CT in the NCATA national championship title meet.
