Dozens of parents and players braced the cold weather Saturday morning for the Challenger Little League Opening Day.
Challenger League gives children with mental or physical disabilities a chance to play baseball and be part of a team.
There are no registration fees for the children to play.
The league also offers "buddies" who help players get to bases, tell them which way to throw and encourage players.
