A woman and a 4-year-old child were taken to the hospital last night after a crash in Waco at South 18th and Webster.
When police arrived on scene at about 8:30 p.m, they found the woman had been revived after initially being knocked unconscious.
She was taken to Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest.
The child involved in the crash suffered serious head trauma and was taken to McLane Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to police, it appears the child was either not buckled in or improperly buckled in since there was no booster seat in the vehicle.
Waco Police’s investigation is ongoing.
